North Texas PKU Association Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

 

The meeting took place Thursday, February 8th, 2007.

The meeting opened at 7:00pm.

•         Financial Status

–        Current Account Balance $21,140.92

 

•         Funding PKU Research

–        Due to our increased fundraising capabilities, the Board of Directors have decided to investigate potential research organizations that we might be interested in supporting.

–        Dr. Reuben Matalon presented his research on NeoPhe.  

–        The supporting documents are: his Biographical Sketch, a News Article, and his Double Blind Placebo Test Results

–        The Board of Directors have decided to continue investigating other research organizations before we make a decision on how to support.

•         Board of Directors Change of Responsibilities

–        Belynda Wright has moved to Indiana and has therefore stepped down as the Vice President of the North Texas PKU Association.

–        The Board of Directors have elected Donnita Robinson as our new Vice President.
