The meeting took place Saturday, August 19th, 2006.

The meeting opened at 1:30pm.

•         Provide recipe and demonstrate recipe to others.  The food cooked will be served for Lunch on Saturday

–        Menus:  Donnita Robinson                                                   

•         Prepare menu for all PKU meals

•         Ensure ingredients will be available (order what you need)

•         Assign chefs to prepare each meal

•         Determain non-PKU meal menus for camp and send to CJM

–        Arts & Crafts:  Belynda Wright                                          

•         Identify A&C activities for Children and purchase appropriate materials

–        Activities for 5 and under:  Lena Chambers                       

•         Organize activities for Children 5 and Under, to do during the Signup-Activities on Saturday

•         Cambrooke @ School

–        For information on having Cambrooke serve their foods at your child’s school, contact Robynne Elkin @ robynneelkin@texashealth.org

•         BioMarin’s Phenoptin Status

–        Sonny Wyatt’s son, Devon, has participated in stage 3 testing of the Phenoptin drug

–        This looks like a promising drug to help break down Phenylalanine in the kidney.

–        Expected to be handed over to the FDA in the summer of 2007 for review.
