is to communicate the meeting minutes from the Board of Directors meeting that
took place on Friday, March 3rd, 2006.

7:30.

Review Financial
Status
1.
There is a loss of
$5,414.42 from last year due to back taxes and fines.
2.
We are now 501(c)3
certified.
3.
Last year’s Golf
Tournament (2005) was the second highest profit of all the past golf
tournaments.
4.
We would like 1
person to audit the account on a regular basis.
5.
We need a Microsoft
Access expert to help design a database to log and track who our donations are
coming from.
Fundraising
1.
Tom has spoken to the
Purple Bloom Foundation. This is a charity that helps charities. He
will be having a meeting with them on fundraising ideas. Donnita will
attend with him.
2.
We are now signed up
for Kroger Charity Cards. Tom Hermanns has the cards. You just swipe
it at the register and we will get proceeds from your grocery purchases.

We will continue with
the golf tournament. As always we could use any help you can give.
We need to try and work on getting sponsors and players signed up early.

There are still
plenty of rubber bracelets to sell. They are $2.00 a piece. To get

Enhancements
1.
Jason Mallett will
follow up with our current website administrator.
2.
We discussed keeping
the website current with activities, etc.

We would like to add
some enhancements to the website such as:

Tom set up an example
of a recipe database/web portal we would like to see added. We are looking for
someone who can do Web Application Development for this project, preferably
pro-bono. The following are some of the features that would be

about recipes

My Favorites folder
for users to keep their favorite recipes book marked

Special Events – It
was decided that we would like to see more get-togethers. Donnita will be
heading this. She will start working on a spring get-together tentatively
